« on: Friday 31 January 14 14:47 GMT (UK) »
REPEAT REQUEST  I have the death certificate of a William Morgan [ harpist] aged 52 yrs  who died 12th June 1891 at 6 Maesteg Row Gilfach Goch . Brother George in attendance. is there any burial records for this area which might in form me where William might have been buried. Found a death announcement in a local paper but all it said was that William was a harpist. Would like to establish IF William was married and if so name of widow. Thankyou . Eirwen

Not likely to buried in Trane cemetery which opened at a later date than William's death.

You could try the local Church:

see contact details on the contact page

You could try other local municipal cemeteries
Municipal Cemeteries of Glamorgan
https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/Municipal_cemeteries_in_Glamorgan

or there were chapels in the area for which someone has some info on burial records of 2 chapels see http://www.tonyrefail.org/contact_us.html

Genfair sell booklets of burial details of chapels in the area (Capel  y Ton & Ainon)

Type in chapel name into search box

Hi  Eirwen,

I don't know if this is the same chap, - but it seems a bit of a coincidence(!)

Romilly - This William is not the one eirwen is looking for. William Morgan the harpist in your search is Ap Sienkyn who is the son of Jenkin Morgan.
