Alex travelled to Quebec, Canada presumably emigrating,  on the SS Teutonic out of Liverpool on June 29th 1912.
There is also a record of a Mary Beaumont (age 16) going to Montreal with a 1yr old child in May of 1912 on board SS Laurentic  Mary's emigration does fit family legend although there is no mention of a child. !

So I guess we are now looking "across the pond".

NB This is the son of Alexander McC. Beaumont previously listed. Hope I haven't confused you

Mary Jane Scarth/Beaumont died  7 Apr 1982 Vancouver. BC. (would have been handy to know who the informant was on the death cert for Mary  ) Perhaps some kind person would have a look for you when they passed the Vancouver Library.

Canada Voters List 1945 shows Alexander Beaumont and Mrs Alex Beaumont at 1204 Victoria Drive. Vancouver. Alex is a truck driver.

Canada Voters List 1962/1963 - Alex Beaumont - retired and Mrs Mary J Beaumont are living at 6166 Victoria Drive, Vancouver.

Canada Voters List 1968 only Mary J Beaumont listed at 6166 Victoria Drive.
