Thank you richsedg for your reply. I know my Grandparents were definitely at Scotnish farm in October 1918 as my Mum was born there at that time. I'm not sure how long they lived there but it was between 1914-1921. I know that my Uncle who was born 1914 went to Tayvallich school for a time. A few years ago I found the farm and was lucky enough to meet Blondie Hassler's widow and also his daughter. I'm trying to do a timeline of all the places where my Grandparents farmed. They moved from Cardoss, Dunbartonshire to Tayvallich and by 1921 they were in a farm at Easterhouse. I would be very grateful if you had any more information or photos about Scotnish. Thank you.

Hi

Please find attached some photos of Scotnish. My great great grandparents built the house at Scotnish Farm in 1910. The farm manager was Archie McLullich. Is that your grandfather?

My Mum Catherine Gordon Colquhoun's birthplace is given as Scotnish, North Knapdale, Argyll. Her father was a farm manager at this time and she was born at the farm in 1918.

Hi,

Can you post your grandparent's names please to help for searching  ;)

Was your grandmother's maiden name Gordon  ???

Thank you richsedg for posting the photos. Is that the big house next to the farm house? Last year on this thread I posted a photo of what I believe is the farmhouse. My Grandparent's names were Robert and Jane Colquhoun. Thank you again.
