Can anyone help? I am looking for the birth/baptism of Berry Houlton/Holton c1768.  I know he married Mary Atkinson at Heckington, Lincs on 19th May 1789.

Hi,
Source: https://familysearch.org
Berry HOOLTON married Ann HOYES at Sleaford, Lincolnshire, 29th August 1819.
That's all I could find, except that there is a Berry HOULTON on the 1851 Census claiming to be born in Heckington, Lincolnshire.

Thanks for your help.  This Berry is a son of the Berry Houlton I am looking for.

The Berry who married in 1854 at Navenby gave his father's name as Woodthorpe HOULTON. :)
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

Thank you for your help.

Perhaps if I gave more information it might help-
My Gt Gt grandfather was Berry Houlton baptised in 1833, he married at Navenby in 1854 to Harriet Wilkinson.  He died in 1910 aged 77 years.
My Gt Gt Gt grandfather was Woodthorpe Houlton born c1803 at Heckington and married at Navenby in in 1825 to Margaret Brown.  Woodthorpe died at Lincoln in 1870 aged 67 years.
My Gt Gt Gt grandfather was Berry Houlton who married at Heckington in 1789 to Mary Atkinson.  this Berry died at Marston in in 1841 aged 73years.  This is the Berry whose birth I am looking for.

I have found another Woodthorpe Houlton who married at Boston, Lincs in 1759 to Elizabeth Taylor.  They had children at Boston and Anwick, Lincs.  As this Woodthorpe had a son baptised as Woodthorpe in 1764 at Boston, I do wonder if he also had a son Berry, but where?  Worth noting the vicars spelt his surname as Holden/ Hoolton/ Howton/ Houghton/Houlton.

I base this on the fact that the names Berry and Woodthorpe are passed down the geenerations.

Just a quick reply in case it is of some use to you.  Mary Berry off "Who do you think you are" had a relative that was a "Houghton"  that was a baker (made bread)

Thankyou.  I think I am going to have to get Berry's death certificate in the hope it gives me more information such as a nickname!  as his wife was still alive at the time of his death.
