Elizabeth Thomas
« on: Saturday 01 February 14 19:51 GMT (UK) »
hi
i have recently discovered that my grt grt grt grandmother Elizabeth Thomas was born in Radnor. She married William Lewis in  Presteigne in 1853. On the 1861 census it states that she was 30 years of age and William was 46 and a revenue officer. Shortly after their marriage they moved to scotland and then later to Hackney. I can find no trace of her birth which will be about 1830 / 1831. Her father is stated as Samuel Thomas.
Any help in finding her birth records would be greatly appreciated
regards
Richard

Hi Elizabeth appears in 1851 census as aged 20 b Presteigne with parents Samuel and Elizabeth and family at High Street, Presteigne, Samuel is an Inn Keeper & Baker, does this bear out with details at marriage?
