To view the FHL film you would need to order it from Salt Lake City (for about $7.75) and view it at a Latter Day Saints Library or nominated centre. Good luck. .

Hi Beth42, Thanks for replying.  I have been trying to find out if there is any more information on the film re. the parents of a marriage between James MacQuhae and Harriet Hunt in 1836 in Aldworth, Berkshire, England.  Ancestry gives this FHL number,  I went to pay to view but discovered I need to get it sent to a library (I live in England) and none of the libraries are within easy reach for me.  I was hoping someone out there might have access.  Thanks anyway.

I had a look at the names you posted and the film you mention which refers to a marriage licence.

It might be better if you start a new marriage look-up request on the Berkshire board but it is highly unlikely there will be any information about the parents. After 1837 the names of the fathers are shown but not the mothers. However the parents may have acted as witnesses.

The chatters on the relevant county boards may have access to other sources of information and might be able to answer your query in another way.
