In 1861 at RG 9/1566/66/25 in Falmouth there is Matthew and Wilmot Potter and their daughter Jemima Rowe (Chistow, Devon, 1810), a Widow.

Can anybody find Jemima before 1861? Especially who she married.

George William LEMWYK, Bachelor, Occp Common Seaman
Witnesses, Matthew* and John POTTER

George W Lemwyk was a Witness to a Marriage in Falmouth 1833

I can find no trace of him on the 1841 Census.

There is a Birth 1838 and a Death 1840 for a Caroline LEMWYK in Devon which may be related.

She would be under one of those Surnames in 1841 Census prob in Devon.

1841: "Ancestry" (possibly) gives her name as "Jemma Fitzgerel"
