Well he was not at Lakenheath mill anymore as James or John Trudgett were milling there from 1855-ish to 1892-ish.

Thanks.  There is a Shadrach Newdick in Lt. Eriswell, which is fairly closeby.  Perhaps a relly?

Hi pb104,

I'm going through my mail box folder and trying to remove some and I have come across a number of posting I have not gotten back to.

You appear to be one.  1 thousand apologies!

I'm researching Suffolk's windmill (well all mills but mainly wind) and the Newdick's appear to have had one of the Lakenheath mills.  Specifically the mill known as Fincham's or Clay Pit Mill or Undley Road Mill (all the same).

I have then there from 1841 - 1851, so anything relating them to the mill before or after this date would be great!  One of the Lakenheath mill was for sale in 1852, perhaps this was when Newdick left and the Trudgett's started?
