You were very lucky that you had the name Haug. It would have been impossible otherwise as Astrid's maiden name was actually Olsson.

Thorvald Haug, Astrid's second husband was Norwegian.

"Jonsson" must be a spelling mistake on the Marriage Certificate  though it does sound similar to Olsson? also Karl Arvid when he died was "unmarried" why wouldn't it say "divorced" - do you think he kept it a secret?  xx

I suppose in those days it was probably frowned upon to divorce so I think he probably wanted to start again.
