Thank you for that s.g.d - following the arrival of the 1851 I have a couple of other versions as well - namely Paley Bank and May Bank but they all seem to come back to the region around Madeley so at least I now have a focus - I never imagined the name could be spelt so many ways either - my favourite so far is Growcur - maybe they should all 'go to the dogs'!
