Elizabeth Piggott wife of Charles Piggott was born about 1807 in St. Ives, Huntingtonshire, England. Pallot's marriage index states.....Piggott Ezth. s. - Chas Piggott. b. 1831 St. Ives, Huntingdon, which to me indicates that her maiden name was Piggott. Charles Piggott was a Cabinet Maker. Elizabeth and Charles had one child in St. Ives, Huntingdon, August 31, 1833 named George and another Humphrey James in London about 1834. Charles, Elizabeth, Humphrey James and George immigrated on the ship George Clinton arriving in New York on May 21, 1834 and then on to Ontario, Canada. They were accompanied by James Piggott, who was born in St. Ives, Huntingdon in 1812. To me this indicates that James was probably Elizabeth's brother, since they were both born in the same place.
