Eastbourne Newspaper Look Up, 1918 Please?
« on: Thursday 13 February 14 15:31 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

Is anyone able to look up Eastbourne Newspapers to look for a mention of Captain Howard Horner MC please? He was born Reigate and lived in Eastbourne, being the son of Milton Horner. The award of the MC appeared in the London Gazette on 26 July 1918 and a week later in the Times. I'd be grateful if anyone could search July/August 1918 to see if a local paper featured him and perhaps gave more information.

Many thanks

Matt

Only entry I can see for 1918 in the British Newspaper Archive is for October [announcement of marriage in Sussex Agricultural Express].
