Look up please - PRs - baptism birth abt 1800 Bosham or Chichester

Hi, I am trying to assist my friend to find the birth of her ancestor Isaac Gratwick born about 1800 - 1803 at either Bosham or Chichester according to the census. I have found him on the -

1871 census as Issac Grattwicke - age 70 - Carpenter - born Chichester
1861 census as Isaac Gratwick - age 58 - Carpenter - born Chichester
1851 census as Isaac Gratwick - age 48 - Carpenter - born Bosham
1841 census as Isaac Gratwick - age 35 - Carpenter - born in the county (Transcribed as Gradwick) only found him after searching for him, then wife, then finally found via daughter Mary.
(Lived at Littlehampton on all censuses)
Isaac Gratwick = Frances Hackett Marriage 21 April 1824 St Peter the Great, Chichester, Sussex   

Likely death - Isaac Gratwicke Jun 1875 72 E. Preston 2b 221

I have searched for Isaac's birth/baptism via Ancestry UK and Family Search but can't find him - not on any Family trees either - so have hit a brick wall with Isaac's birth/baptism and ancestors.

Hoping someone can help, please.

Had a look for this in the Record Office today, but couldn't find anything in the PRs for Bosham or Chichester for Isaac (nor could the Record Office lady, who's a bit better at it than I am!).
The only Gradwick/Gratwicks I could find on Bosham baptisms were Elizabeth (01/04/1804, parents John and Sarah), and Jane (14/02/1805, parents John and Jane). I had a look at marriages too - there was one for John Gradwick to Sally Head, at Bosham 16/12/1802, but otherwise no male Gradwick marriages back to at least 1786.
I had a look at the Burial records and MIs for East Preston and Littlehampton, but nothing there for Isaac around 1875.
The only one I could find was Frances Hackett's baptism, at St Nicholas, Mid-Lavant on 27/01/1793, parents William and Mary - so it looks as though she was indeed 10 years older than Isaac.
Sorry not to have better news to report. (If Jan reads this, maybe she might have more success?)

Wow, thank you for checking so many different aspects of the research for my friend. Yes, Isaac Gratwick may prove to be very difficult to find. I've also seen the name transcribed as Goatwick and Galwick too, so that brick wall will take some work to break it down!

Yes, you're on the right track with Frances. Perhaps she was only 7 years older if Isaac was born in 1800. 10 years is a bit unusual bit it did happen and may still be the case with this couple.

Any help is welcome and maybe Jan will have more luck with Isaac.

No sign of Isaac I'm afraid - he may have been baptised non-conformist or just not baptised (like many of mine!)

St Peter the Great has these two baptisms around the right time which may connect

27 Sep 1805 Gratwick George father Henry baseborn
9 Dec 1808 Gratwick Amelia d/o Thomas and Elizabeth
