do you have his 1852 marriage cert to confirm his father's name & occupation? Had be been married before?

The IGI batch for Llanbadarn Fynydd starts in 1813 so nothing from 1810-1, but there is a baptism in that parish for a Jane Higgs 28-3-1813, to parents Thomas & Elizabeth.

I've got a transcript of Llanbadarn Fynydd records: he was baptised on 29 July 1910, son of Thomas Higgs by his wife (tantalisingly doesn't give the name of his wife!).

Want me to look for a marriage?

how many Higgs families are there in the parish at the time? Was 1910 a typo? Unless Thomas remarries before 1813, it's likely to be the same wife, Elizabeth, as for the baptism of their daughter Jane.
