Jane Sophia died in 1908, Janet died in 1929 and Harriet died in 1953
John himself died in 1942.

Would the records at the cemetery have missed John?
Anyone able to visit and take a peek?

Regards
Lorraine

Where was the place of death for John?

There would have been room in the lair for him when he died

yes, lots of room plus he is/was the lair owner.
The cemetery is Craigton in Govan.

Where did he actually die?

What was the cause of death?

There might be a newspaper funeral notice giving details.

He died at home at Garmouth Street, Govan of pneumonia.

Its just odd to me that he is not listed yet his daughter died after him and was buried in the same lair and she is listed!

Is there a way I can see the lair registrations or paperwork?  I am in Canada so if I need to visit, I will need to start saving my pennies!

Would a kind person be able to take a pic of the lair or what happens to be there?  It is lair Q362

Two thoughts .
1. He died and was buried (or cremated) in 1942 - A lot of things like records, memorial inscriptions etc. were not done during the War (my grandfather (d. 1943)  is missing from his stone because of this).  After the War no-one got around to it.
2. You could try a photo request on FINDAGRAVE - there are Wallaces in Craigton on their database, but not your forenames.  A photo request may give you the inscription.
