The best places for records are Waterford Archives at the corner of High Street and Henrietta Street and the Waterford room of the city library which is at Lady Lane.

The Waterford Room of the City library has an index to the Waterford News 1884 - 1948, which has Births, Marriages and Deaths , I found it very helpful when I was researching my family tree.
