Yes,  I have seen this, but thank you.  I am specifically after any information about witnesses. Both Mary Ann and her sister Amy Louisa married miners from Newcastle, NSW.

I would really like to know if it lists her mother as Elizabeth Jones, but I don't know if it will have this information?

Tas certificates for marriages after 1896 do list the names of both parents and give birthplaces but you will have to purchase the certificate.

These are the six births to James and Elizabeth JONES/SMITH in Tasmania and according to marriage snip Mary Ann was the fifth eldest dau of James MOODY of Sandfly.

 Only MOODY births between 1871 and 1888 with father James and mother Elizabeth however the surname of Elizabeth is both SMITH and JONES

Elizabeth , Maria, Sarah, John, Virginia, and fifth dau,Mary Ann and Louisa Annie.

Sorry, I already have a lot of this.  I have now applied for the marriage details through Tasmanian Archives. I am forever trying to work out who Elizabeth Jones parents are.  Related post:

I am also applying for the births of other suggested children Sarah Ellen and Jane Jones. Although some people have them on an Ancestry Public Trees as children of John Jones and Ellen Coughlin (various spellings of Coughlin). Though they seem to have more children born in Launceston, so I  am not sure the Hobart births make sense. A lot of unsourced information.

I forgot to say that I have the baptismal information of Elizabeth Jones born 14 April 1848 and baptized 30 April 1848. Child's Name: Elizabeth Father: John Jones Mother: Elizabeth Jones Maiden Name not stated.  Abode: Elizabeth Street Quality or Profession: Carpenter By Whom Ceremony Performed: P Palmer Rural Dean

I also have Mary Ann's sister Amy Louisa's marriage and death certificates. Marriage lists mother as Elizabeth Johns and the death certificate informant did not provide the names of her parents, even though I am sure he would have known them.

I have ordered Mary Ann Faith's death certificate from NSW BDM.
