Hello i am trying to trace the familiy of my grand father glyndwr maidment born 1919 died 1959 i believe he was born in crickhowell i think his fathers name was william maidment and i think his mothers name was helen powell they also had leslie maidment 1923 granville maidment 1912 and a thomas terry maidment karen

To confirm that you have the parents details you really need one of the childrens birth certificates. The birth of Granville in 1912 was registered in the name of Maidment with mothers name Powell even though the marriage did not take place until 1914

thank you for your help the william l maidment does match all the records i have found so far i cant find any records that say what the l stands for

 The  Ingram    comes  from  Williams  mother ,  she's  on 1901  census with   Henry, RG13; Piece: 1318; Folio: 39; Page: 21.   and    later one    with son   and daughter
