Timmins or Timmons

  I have traced a Timmons/Timmins line all born Alfreton from 1796 to the present day.
I am struggling to find the birth of William Timmins born Alfreton abt 1796.

 He marries Sarah Carlisle Wright in Alfreton 25 July 1820 and can be found on the 41,51,61 census in Alfreton before dyeing in 1870 in Alfreton.

Can anyone help with finding a possible birth for him. Timmins turned to Timmons late 18 hundreds, was it perhaps Timmons firstly?

John is born c 1791 Alfreton, so may be a Brother of William.

Yes annoying that familysearch is down but have been there so many times with this one in hope but to no avail.

Hello. Hopefully you are still researching and checking this forum. There are a group of us Timmons who are involved in several Timmons projects in the hopes of narrowing down our Timmons connections. I recently found out that the Wright family is in the male Timmons direct line for a DNA match. Zak is researching this connection as it is his family who have a Wright connection to Timmons about generation 12. He believes the line connects in England. After seeing this post about Wrights and Timmons and you being in England I am very curious about a possible connection. I realize yours is more recent but there could be a history there that goes back further.

If you are interested we have several groups. One is for family history Timmons. There are Timmons from all over. The other is the Timmons YDNA group where we have some people very good at matching up the DNA and finding the connections. Not everyone needs to have a YDNA but it is the most helpful if a male tested. For females that tested autosomal works as well. It would be interesting to see if we can trace the Wright Timmons connections further back.
