Hi John,

Welcome to Rootschat!  Yes, I still have the certificate.  I purchased it hoping it was for the wife of my Great Uncle but sadly not.  You are welcome to have it.

You will need to make a couple more posts and then you will be able to PM me your address.  I think I'm correct in saying people new to Rootschat need to have posted 3 times ... let's hope it works!

Hi Liz
I do have the details off the cert as my niece did some searching but having the name Brown makes life hard to search. I 'am taking up the search as she has most of her fathers side done now.

Tell me about it!!  ::)

My Grandmother was a Brown and it gets worse - she was born in London - I have spent hours / days / months trawling through London records trying to piece together her family as her Dad was illegitimate!  Every time I make progress it feels very special!

If you'd like me to post this certificate to you just reply to this message and I'll send you a PM.

Hi
My father had the same name as his father so I get confused and now he is dead I can't ask him anything.
