Blackwood family
« on: Saturday 29 March 14 10:35 GMT (UK) »
I've hit a brick wall and hope someone can help.  Only have a limited information.

Looking for a female born Dundrum circa 1900 surname Blackwood.  She married George Rayner circa 1918-1921 but we can't find a marriage.  It would be useful if we could establish what  her Christian name was.

Best

Ken

Ken, in addition to Dundrum, Dublin, there are several others, including ones in counties Wexford and Tipperary, but closer to Belfast, a townland in the civil parish of Keady, County Armagh and a village and townland in the civil parish of Kilmegan, County Down (the one in the 1911 census record that jnoone posted and closer to the information provided by dathai).

In addition to Mary Jane, a search of the index on the Ulster Historical Foundation website for parents input as David Blackwood and Mary Jane Johnston identifies the following County Down births/baptisms: Margaret 1879; Agnes Eliza 1882, James Johnston 1884; Sarah Ann 1885; Laura Maria 1887; James Johnston 1889; David John 1891; William Henry 1894.  The content of the records is pay to view.
