Tharston Registers
« on: Wednesday 02 April 14 09:43 BST (UK) »
Can someone help with the burial of Elizabeth Amond July 1777 in Tharston from the parish register.
A transcription of the BT's, she is the wife of Joseph is this a mistake/typo.
The memorial inscription says she is the wife of Edward.
Thanks

Hi, if Elizabeth was a widow when she married, & her name was Stannard,
then this may help  http://www.rootschat.com/links/0yqp/  Dave

There is no mention of her husbands name in the AT's for Tharston
http://www.rootschat.com/links/0yqq/

and the BT's do no seem to exist for Tharston for July 1777

the BT's transcript you have refers to Ashwellthorpe

Hi Yokel, Just wondered if the marriage in 1772 I found, was of the Elizabeth that died
               Tharston 1777, Dave.

Hi berkeley

just noticed the page previous to the one you posted has Edward Amond and not Edmond but the same marriage details :-\ so it could be.

Hi,  Yes she was married to Edward.  He was my seven times great grandfather.  He married three times - each of them being an Elizabeth!
