Thank you for all the links. I think we knew most of them. Its tracing Denis O'Connor back further and actually trying to find him in the 1901 census is proving difficult

Sorry thought I'd mentioned it before. Denis O'Connor is Michael's father and his mother was Catherine Breen. From the 1911 census @ Knockbrack Brosna, it states they have been married 14 years so this would make it about 1897 marriage year +-1. Dennis wasn't at home in 1911 census so we don't know his estimated birth year. Catherine's birth year would be about 1871 and it just states Co Kerry.

It shows that they had 7 children and only 6 were still alive. The children would be: John aby 1899, Mary about 1901, Margaret abt 1902, Michael 1904, Denis 1905, Honora 1906 & Johanna 1910. We have found baptism for them all except John & Mary's, whose birth place is down as Limerick. This could be the town or County.
