Good morning

It has been quite a while since I have looked at this so have not updated the information I have since found.

I discounted the Mary Field / Henry Butler marriage but trawling through records I found this to be correct the clue being Henry giving an address in Burton on Trent which I have attached to the family, it was a real eureka moment for me. The marriage took place in 1893 in St Andrews Dublin.

Henry shows his father as Edward Butler, but this is his stepfather Edward Birch.

Mary Fields father is Patrick Field , cab driver, which then led me to a marriage to Elizabeth McCann.

For pdollinger's search

I'd agree with dathai that Mary Anne FIELD aged 55 in 1901 was nee REILLY
and married to Michael FIELD on Mar 02 1862 - LINK #323
Michael FIELD died Sep 18 1890 aged 49 at 32 Georges Ave, Blackrock and is buried in Deansgrange Grave# D4 48 N
Mary Anne FIELD died Apr 08 1902 aged 56 at 22 Georges Ave, Blackrock and is buried in the same grave

They had at least nine children
1864 Denis (d. Jul 11 1900 bur.Deansgrange Grave# U3 32 N)
1866 James
1868 William (d. Feb 16 1893 bur.Deansgrange Grave# D4 48 N)
1869 Mary (d. before 1872)
1871 Michael (d. before 1884)
1872 Mary Anne (d. Mar 28 1878 bur.Deansgrange Grave# S54N)
1875 Thomas Patrick
1877 Ellen/Helen (d. May 08 1897 bur.Deansgrange Grave# D4 48 N)
1884 Michael

Denis/Dennis FIELD(s) married Mary KENNY on Dec 04 1885 in Kilmacud, Stillorgan - LINK

They are the parents of an Ellen FIELD - LINK born May 18 1886
There is however a baptism for an Anne FIELDS in
DoB May 17 1886 and DoBap May 23 1886
Her parents are shown as Dennis FIELDS and Mary KELLY
and the sponsors Thomas KINSELLA and Ellen FIELD
The address is the same address as the civil birth record: Brookfield, Blackrock
The baptism notes she married James DOYLE on Apr 16 1917 - LINK

At the time of the marriage Annie FIELD was a widow named STACK - LINK

She had first married James STACK on Jan 14 1913 - LINK
Although I note that he signed his name as Edward STACK

They had one son Denis STACK on Aug 29 1913 - LINK
This states that his father Edward STACK was deceased but there is not an obvious matching Irish record
I think that Denis STACK died in 1927 aged 14 - LINK

Denis FIELD and Mary KENNY had at least two other children
William Charles b 1888 LINK; possible death in 1889 aged 0 LINK
He died Jul 11 1889 aged 8 months at 30 Georges Ave, Blackrock and is buried in Deansgrane Grave# U3 32 N

Jane b 1890 LINK; she died on Sept 21 1891 LINK
She is buried in the same grave in Deansgrange Grave# U3 32 N

Mary FIELD nee KENNY died aged 35 on Jun 13 1893 LINK
She is buried in the same grave in Deansgrange Grave# U3 32 N

Denis FIELD died on Jul 11 1900 at the Hospice in Harold's Cross; address: 15 Temple Rd Blackrock; aged 35 and is buried in the same grave as his wife and two children - LINK

The Anne Field listed was the daughter of Denis Field and Mary Kenny

The family of Michael Field and Mary Anne Reilly are accounted for above.

There is no other birth at that time of a daughter named Anne that I can see.

You can see the number of children James and Thomas had on the 1911 census and can account for them all.

I would be 95% sure of this parentage
