In 1881, there's a 14yo Alfred Snooks, b. Marylebone, listed as a "pauper", occupation "scholar" on The Training Ship Exmouth, in Grays, Essex.

A possible?

Samuel Turk may not be him, as I think he is still alive in 1911.

Samuel Peter Snook son of Samuel Snook and Mary Ann Dixon was born 3q 1852 St Pancras 1b 71.
The last address I have for him is 2 Little Albany Street North, Regents Park in 1871. He was a Pianoforte Maker.

Any other information anout him would help me further.

Something happened to the family 1868 as both Emma Harriet and younger brother Alfred are in the Camden Workhouse, they are both released to the Plaistow School 10 June 1868.

Just in case tracing other children leads to further clues.  GRO index mmn Dixon

Their parents Samuel and Mary were also in Camden Workhouse with them in 1868  but no sign of son Samuel sadly
