Marriage Percy J Symonds

Looking for any information on Percy J Symonds, who married widow Polly Whistler in Bury St Edmunds 1921, lived at Rougham.  Trying to establish where they lived previous to marriage, children etc.,

Any children born to the second marriage may still be living so details cannot be given here

However - you can look for them on freebmd by searching for Symonds births with a mothers maiden name of .........  As Pollie was previously married you need to establish her birth surname as any birth registrations will show that name - not Whistler

Note that marriage reg shows her as Pollie - not Polly

Thank you I have got that information and also checked for children on  BMD.  My real interest is to find about Percy Symonds and his connection with Suffolk.

Have you looked on freebmd for his birth to establish where he was born?  His death reg in 1965 shows his birthyear as approx 1887

Do you have a copy of the 1921 marriage cert showing his fathers name and occupation and also whether Percy was a bachelor or widower

You can then check the 1891/1901/1911 censuses for him
