OK interesting. Do you have more info about him and perhaps a pic??  Do you know any circumstances how he died??? Was it an accident??

I've got nothing at all - no photos, no records. My husband's mum was 9 when he died in 1945, and she was always told he died of a heart attack. I don't know whether this was true, or whether it was an accident, but I'm going to order his service records to try and establish what happened.

That is sad realy sad. I hope that you will know more in the near future to order his records. I have  records but only RAF men who died and buried on this cemetery. I am afraid i don't know much about army soldiers. Maybe the REME have an Veterans Association and have any records?? Anyway will send you grave pics tomorrow.

On Eindhoven Grave register of 1946 I have found the following information;

Shearman,A.W., L/Cpl  827 Tank Tps. W/sps REME  10546754 buried 17-2-45 grave RR34
