Lokking for Ophelia Ann Davis Ruse, b1833 in Anthony/Torpoint area, married John Lavers 1837.
Have not been able to find her parents, any help gratefully received,

I think you have a wrong date in your post, I don't think Ophelia was born in 1833 and married in 1837!!

On the 1851 census Ophelia gives her place of birth as ‘Tarpoint’ Cornwall.
There was another child John aged 7. John Lavers her husband was ‘Leading Man of Engineers H M Service’

There are Ruses in St. Anthony on the 1861 census.

Hi Valda, Thanks so much, thats them, did not know about Johns occupation so thats really cool! Ophelia says in one census that she was born in Antony but another she says Torpoint, I believe they are quite close together, the next thing we are having no luck with is finding her parents!
