Yes Caleb came to to NZ as a toddler. What a trip that must have been as a 2 year old. James and Ann had more children here.

I would appreciate any link you can find to earlier Ewingtons and look forward to hearing from you again.

The Caleb you mentioned is the father of James I think it Went Caleb, James, Caleb. I think Caleb senior died 2 years before the Wennington sailed. Might have been a catalyst for the family to move.
