*Problem solved* The Bowens of Nevern
« on: Wednesday 21 May 14 20:41 BST (UK) »
I saw one of my probable ancestors on familysearch, but unfortunately there's limited info on there.

I'm trying to figure out who's who in my ancestors. Someone here helped me find out that a Tamerlane Bowen was having children at the end of the 1700s.  It would be great to know exactly which baptisms are of his children, and are who the other couples (fathers!) having babies there, because I think they'll all be related.

But most importantly, can some check whether the parish record gives an age for the Tamerlane (very often and wildly misspelled and mistranscribed) who died there in 1792. And if it doesn't give an age, perhaps it might suggest whether it was an adult or child?

(We're trying to find a link between several Tamerlanes .... And think we might be missing a link).  Any help greatly appreciated.

.... And I just remembered that somewhere I saw Tamerlane taking on an apprentice at the end of the 1700s. It would be great to know what his profession was!!
