I am trying to trace Eliza CAMPBELL nee LAWLOR and her son Archibald CAMPBELL who originated from Limerick. Her surname has also been spelt as LAWLER.
Eliza LAWLOR was born C1833 in Limerick, Ireland, her father was John LAWLOR. Eliza married Charles CAMPBELL 27th April 1863 in Limerick. Charles was born C1829 in Glasgow, Scotland and his father was William.
I have only been able to find one child so far to Charles and Eliza, this was Archibald Campbell born on the 1st September 1864 in Limerick, Ireland.
As Charles was a Soldier they moved around a lot and I have found census records as follows :
1871 living in Glasgow, Scotland and by this time he was a Chelsea pensioner.
1881 the family were living in Kirkdale, Lancashire, England. Charles was listed as being 51 years old, Eliza was 46 years and Archibald was only 17 years.
I haven't been able to find any trace of this family after 1871 so I am really looking forward to hearing from anyone who can help me with this,
