Ridlestown Parish of Crecora

I found in the Tithe applotments where in the parish of Crecora they had listed a John Halloran in the townland of Ridlestown. I cannot find this townland I wonder if anyone can help me please.

Riddlestown is in the civil parish of Doondonnell:

But I wonder why the Tithe applotments taken from Family Search have Riddlestown in the Parish of Crecora. Possibly a transcription error?

Although historically much older, townlands were still only becoming "standardised" (eg. by OS work) in terms of name and location during the 1820s and 1830s.

So in the Tithe Applotment Books, it is not unusal to see a townland named / spelled differently (though note that what is online also has a lot of transcription errors) or located within a different parish, compared to other later references such as the 1851 Townlands Index.

I think maybe the best way to try and resolve this (or at least determine if it is a transcription error or not) is to go to the LDS Library and obtain a copy of the film and read it for myself.
