Hello , I have just bought a few credits on Find My Past in the hope of seeing what I believe to be a marriage of an ancestor . I am told that Albert Prout marries in Ontario in 1926. Do you think I will be able to see it ? Or if not how do I go about it please ?
Any help much appreciated , thanks

I can't say whether you could see the marriage record on Find My Past but it is available on Ancestry, original image included. Marriages are currently available to the public up to about 1928 with a new year added annually.

Assuming it is the correct record, Albert married an Edna Moore 01 Sep 1926 in Stratford Ontario. His parents are given as William Henry Prout and Anna Small and his birthplace is given as Exeter England.

Hello PB, thank you so much , that is the correct marriage and details . I have a subscription to Ancestry but I need a Worldwide  subs in order to see it .

You might check if your local public library subscribes to Ancestry Library Edition. This should give you access to the original image. Also, if you are near a Family History Center (the familysearch folks), I think they often have Ancestry as well.
