That is very interesting and also a bit freaky, as i have spent the last couple of days looking into this Cullatin line and had just put down the laptop before seeing your message last night.... would be keen to get in touch as this is very promising and potentially we are related
- i have traced my Cullatin to Corcreeagh, so i assume it is the right family.
My Michael, signed on in Carrickmacross and then was moved to Roscommon, before Donegal and then Antrim.. he also had a family member serving in Co.Cavan and he may have been called James and may have served in Wexford. i know nothing other than Michael had family serving in Co.Cavan.
Where are you based? i am in Donegal and stopped once on my way back from Dublin in the chapel in Corcreeagh and met a man living beside the graveyard who was a Culleton (cant remember his first name) but he was very helpful and showed me all the Culleton graves in the graveyard. I had intended to try and get up again last weekend but ended up in Belfast instead. -
