I revisited the Victoria Public Records Office and had another look at Wilcock on the Lady Jocelyn (with a C not an S) They appear to be a complete family with a swag of kids and mum and dad. I searched for just wil and the Wilcocks were all that came up.

I assume you meant you visited their website ;)

WILCOCK family on the LADY JOCELYN

Is this request for a member of the same family?

One of my ancestors arrived Adelaide SA on a clipper named LADY JOCELYN in 1875 which was reported as being the largest ship that had visited the port at that time.
Is this is the same ship that carried the large number of immigrants to Victoria?  Converted to sail following the opening of the Suez Canal in 1869.  Nothing noted for journeys in 1869/ 1870.

Yes Cando
Yes to all of those, I was expanding on a reply I made a little earlier. The original poster is looking for a James Wilcox on the Lady Joselyn. Arrived Melbourne Jan 1870.
I couldn't find anything about a Lady Joselyn so tried an alternative spelling and came up with the ship you mention, on which I found a James Wilcock 1 year old. Then again using a wider search found a whole family of Wilcocks on that ship.
