Hi   :)

I've been looking for it on the old 6 ins OS maps but can only find Trench Road (Wrockwardine Wood area). I've found this ref to it:

Quote
The Gentleman's Club of Pain's Lane, begun for senior Lilleshall Co. employees in 1812, met monthly on Saturday evenings in the Shaw Birch or the King's Arms public houses, Trench Lane.

Will see if I can find more info.

Hi

I'll have a look on the old maps for you.  I checked the censuses - was it Joseph and family?
