I found an article in the Goshen, Indiana Democrat from 22 Jan. 1890 that says the Vidalia Michigan Press of last week referred to the marriage of Fletcher Oxenford and Mrs. Sarah A. Lindeman.  Sarah was described as one of Goshen's fairest widows and the marriage was a surprised to most of the villagers.  It says that a few relatives of the bride & groom were present.  It was noted that Mrs. Lindeman had traveled extensively in America and Europe, having crossed the ocean several times.

A 19 Jun. 1895 article in the same paper said that Mrs. Fletcher Oxenford of North Main Street purchased the Jane Martin property on East Clinton St. for $1,250.

The Goshen Mid Week Times from 6 Jan. 1899 says the will of Mrs. Oxenford was admitted to probate.  It says Ralph Day of Goshen was given a gold watch & chain, husband Fletcher Oxenford gets the household furniture, and the remainder of the property was to be divided between Charlotte Ward or heirs of London, England, and Peter W. Brushfield, of near Victoria, Australia, or his heirs.

A Jan. 1896 article in the Goshen Weekly News said that F. Oxenford was visiting Goshen with his granddaughter Nellie Rudd of North Dakota.
