Jacob William Sher(r)ard c 1888 of Cumcelyn Bliana

Jacob William Sher(r)ard born in 1888 appears in the 1891 census and I cannot find any sight of him until his marriage in 1916. Thee children were born to the marriage and he died in 1947 at Carleon.

Any filling in of the large gaps in time would be much appreciated.

Sorry to but in here but I have looked a a Family Tree and they have;

William SHERRARD/Martha JONES as George Parents.
This looks correct but;
They have Williams Parents as John SHERRARD/Lena GILBERT.
This looks incorrect to me.

William does not name a Father on his Marriage.

1851 William/Martha are with her Parents George/Elizabeth in Bitton. He is born c 1817 Shedworth (sic).

I think this is likely Williams Baptism;

1841 she is Rachel Phelps born c 1810 and 1851/1861 born c 1796/1797 Chedworth.
They dont seem to have had any Children.

Looks to me that contrary to Family Trees William is with his Uncle Samuel in 1841 not his Brother.

Yes, it appears to me he is the Son of Rachel whose Parents were William and Hannah nee Walker.
So you have 2 more generations back.
