Richard Bettenson Pelynt
« on: Friday 18 July 14 17:03 BST (UK) »
Hello There.

I wonder if anyone can find a baptism for the above gentleman please ?

According to the 1851 census he was 75 years old, which would see him born about 1776, he died in 1857, and his age was in line with this.

I have found a baptism 13/01/1783 and wonder if he was a baptised as a toddler

Any help appreciated

Have you considered the baptisms for two Richard Bettisons?
1775 in Helland
1776 in St Enodor

I misunderstood your heading to start with and started looking for a Richard Pelynt :)
