Hello Folks,

I'm the new owner of Delalie Farm House. Took a while for the sale to go through as we were dealing with various members of the Gladstone family and represenatives of the estate, but its done now.

The scope of work at the house is.....extensive.

1st thing is getting the building wind and water tight.

If anyone has any info on the house that would be great, all we know at present is its on maps from 1826 showing the trees already established.

Certainly the original two room building and one of the steadings are very old, with the use of wooden pins instead of nails!

Welcome Motorhead! So you bought my house I see.  ;D

What are your plans for the place? (I hope you will retain it's character).

Will you live there?

If it isn't any of those suggested above, there is a farm by the name of Dalladies, just a mile or so north of Stracathro, but on the Kincardine side of the River North Esk in Fettercairn parish.
Jarron, Marr, Christie, Candy, Addison, Spence, Mitchell, Mollison, Calder, Duffus, Silver, Burness, Falconer
