« on: Monday 27 June 05 21:01 BST (UK) »
Hi, I have a greatuncle David Irwin McGrath who was a POW in WW2. David served in the Royal Irish Fusiliers. He was also wounded and operated on by the Germans. Can anyone assist with any further details please
Thanks

Hi Bob

You've probably already been to this site of the Regimental Museum but just in case....

http://www.armymuseums.org.uk/amot-search/default.asp?Category=Amot&Service=Museum-Display&reference=0000000103

They do have archives and you may just "luck out" if you get in touch!!
