White, Martin confirm parents

I am looking for information on Martin White I have his birth as Nov 9 1822 Dereney, Galway (now Clare).  He left Ireland in 1848 to come to the US.  There he met up with an acquaintance Margaret Madden (1 Feb 1830 Kilkooney, Galway).  They married in 1853.  Their children listed in birth order were Mary (I), Matilda, Dennis, Patrick, Mary (II), John (I), Margaret, Ann, John (II), Martin, Dora.  I found a baptismal record for a Martin Whyte born Nov 8  1823 parents: James Whyte & Anastasia Nevils sponsor Judith Levi.  The parish/district is listed as Loughrea.  I would like confirmation that these two Martins are the same person.  Thanks
