Elizabeth Richards Llanarmon MM & Edward Hughes Llansilin

I believe Elizabeth and Edward married in August 1835, in Oswestry as Llansilin was deemed to be in Shropshire at this time. Can anyone help? I need to get hold of their marriage certificate.

You won't get a marriage certificate for a marriage in 1835.You can only get these for post 1837 marriages.

Looking at your post again,the fact that they married at Oswestry,bears no significance as to whether Llansilin was in Shropshire or not at that time.

Find My Past has an image of the Church Register entry for St Oswald's, Oswestry of the marriage of Edward Hughes, bachelor and Elizabeth Richards, spinster, by banns, both of this Parish, on 11th August 1835. Edward signed and Elizabeth made her mark. Witnesses were John Thomas, signed and Jane Thomas, made her mark.
