I have a CD of Rawcliffe St James baptisms and your William is not on it.

However, there are these 3 baptisms which may be of interest :

Charles William Holland s/o William, a dredger boatman & Annie  8 May 1921 abode: Rawcliffe Bridge
Kathleen Holland d/o William, a dredger boatman & Annie  22 Jul 1925  abode: Rawcliffe Bridge
Iris May Holland d/o William Edward, a labourer & Annie  abode: Rawcliffe Bridge.

There is a baptism on family Search for a William Edward Holland in nearby Goole 25 Sep 1893 s/o Alfred & Elizabeth.

Jill

HELP!!!

 BATHSHEBA BOOTHROYD bn c. 1802 W. Yorks.

Baptism nowhere to be found. Possibly in a nonconformist church near ALMONDBURY or HUDDERSFIELD.

Where is your information from?  Being "in Rawcliffe bridge" during WW1 does not necessarily mean he was actually born there

What documents do you have which confirms his birthplace etc?

Who did he marry?

What is the full name of "H" Holland

If you are descended from one of his siblings - then please give full info of that sibling to help us find the right person
