elias and stephen Latham

I am trying to solve a family mystery as to who was the family member who was killed in ww1 his name was either Elias or Stephen but I dont know his surname his mother was a sister to my gt grandmother and was one of three sisters  Mary Catherine Hewitt (or may have used Griffiths) Ann Griffiths or Agnes Griffiths I have found Henry Stephen Latham born 1895 and Elias Griffiths latham born 1890 both listed as living in  Queensferry as boarders with Mary catherine Griffiths This I found on the Flintshire War memorials site it gives conflicting information as to Stephens parents and it it is correct they are not mine. Henry Stephen was killed in ww1

If anyone can help with Elias and Stephen
Their parents and are they brothers or maybe cousins

Is this the Elias Griffith Latham you mean - from the 1901 census: -

Elizabeth Barlow, 68, widow b Haworden
Elias Griffith Latham, 10, grandson
Evelyn Agnes Latham, 7 granddaughter both b Haworden

Carolyn can you post the details you have on the parents for Henry Stephen Latham?

Is this him on the 1901 census?

Hi  Elias Griffiths Latham with Elizabeth Barlow is spot on She was my Gt Gt grandmother her second husband was Joseph Barlow so Elias Griffiths Latham is correct and one of mine I now need to know which of her daughters was his mother with the Griffiths as a middle name could his mother have been single. and where Stephen fits in. My Mother gave me both the names Stephen and Elias years ago as she remembers one of them  from when she was a child

I think that possibly, Alfred and Paul were Latham brothers, so that would make them cousins?

So Elias is the son of Agnes Griffiths - still not sure where Henry Stephen Latham fits in?
