McMahon's of Monalty Meath
« on: Thursday 31 July 14 17:04 BST (UK) »
My family emigrated from Moynalty County Meath to Canada in the 1800's  Thomas married to Mary Carolan their children were John (1857), Elizabeth (1859), Peter (1861), Sarah (1863) and Thomas (1867). I'm not sure if all the children emigrated with them. I have the ( Canadian ) marriage record Peter Son of Thomas McM and Mary C to Martha Jane Downey ( 1893 ).
I am trying to find out who Thomas's parents were and if there are records that show the whole family emigrated together. Can anybody help me out?

According to Irish census 1911, theres a Peter mcmahon, aged 50 and his son john aged 21, Shancarnan, Moynalty, age would match Peters birth.

Thanks for your feedback. My records indicate John McMahon DOB 1898 ( Canada ) son of Peter McMahon DOB 1861 (Ireland ) / DOD 1901 ( Canada ). So your links must be from another line.
