« on: Friday 01 August 14 12:21 BST (UK) »
Hi!
Can anyone help with the following?

I have the following children listed being baptised, parents John Greenhope (Greenup/Greenop) and Mary Tolson/Jobson/Jolson:

Ann Greenup baptised 12 August 1779 Ireby, died 18 March 1790 Ireby

John Greenup baptised 12 March 1781 Ireby

Hannah Greenup baptised 13 November 1784 Ireby

Mary Greenup baptised 29 June 1786 Ireby

Joseph Greenup baptised 29 January 1788 Ireby

Ann Greenup baptised 18 March 1790 Ireby

Ann Greenup born 3 November, baptised 11 December 1791 Bromfield

Cant find any record for marriage of John Greenup to Mary Tolson, nor any possible parents for John?

Any help much appreciated! :D

I have an Ann Greenhope who married Joseph Cope in Staffordshire in 1795.  I had thought she was the Ann baptised 12 August 1779 in Ireby, as that would be the right age, but not if that Ann died on 18 March 1790.  Also, it's kind of a distance between Ireby and Lapley, so that may not be the right Ann at all.

I think it's odd that one Ann died the same date another Ann was baptised in Ireby.  Is it possible the Ann who died 18 March 1790 was another Ann, an aunt perhaps?

I'll let you know if I resolve any of this.
