,,, What are the next steps for me? Is there anyway to go further back with my research? I can only go back to Sarah's Parents John Arthur and Sarah Moore. And I can only go back to Henry's parents, James Logan and Susanna Moore.

You are unlikely to get "further back" as the local church records do not contain any details or go back far enough that would enable you to do so.

Maggsie, what do you mean by "Ok, but I have his birth record!" ?

There were no birth certificates at that time, death record only lists age in years...  :-\

Sorry, but I get lots of info out of the sites I use. (9 sites I use)
One goes back, if you are very lucky with names, to the 1700's
I have 7 records this time all to the Logan's 1850 Bible request message.
I am waiting for the requester to reply.
4 are Presbyterian and 3 are Church of Ireland, all in Derry.
I am new to this site.

Sorry but I don't understand your post.

LOTS of information on the internet is totally wrong and then picked up and repeated over and over again so using 9 sites does not guarantee accuracy. As I said, there are no birth certificates for that period (registration of birth started in 1864). The local church records (I have checked them ALL) do not contain details this far back.

What do you mean by "4 are Presbyterian and 3 are Church of Ireland, all in Derry." ?

Hi,
Yes I agree ........
1864 was when the Civil records were introduced, Church records were used before this as you know.
The IFHF spent hours going through Church Records and inputting them into their site.
Now called rootsireland.ie
I know these are correct as I have been to Dublin, Kildare Street and sat for hours going through the reels to get my info on Limerick, Tipperary and Offaly (Kings) Printed the ones I needed.
Also, I have done lots of searches for other people while I was there.
I know that any site that a user can input info. into can be wrong, now I can even tell by the spellings where it has come from. I have corrected many sites even Ancestry and the National Library in Ireland, NLI sent their project to Quebec and the spellings were awful.
I update the Genealogy lady in the Irish Roots magazine almost every month.
I like to get things correct, I have been given incorrect info. in the past, but then I got the correct info. myself.
I know quite a few of the officers in the various Genealogy places around Ireland.
Should I not help?
