Hi
This topic is connected to Caernarvonshire,  “Family History/Local History Group for Porthmadog??” started by “laren”.
Robert and Margaret Jones, of The Slateworks, Porthmadog, had 3 daughters, Elizabeth(Lizzie), Margaret (Maggie) and Christiana. Elizabeth Dowdney(nee Jones) died 1915 in London, aged 35. The other 2 were appointed to posts in Merionethshire and probably moved to live there.
Christiana b. 1888, was appointed “assistant mistress” at the Church School, Tywyn, in1910. In 1911 Census, she is a 'Boarder'  at 1 Idris Villas, Towyn, with Richard Lewis and family.
Maggie b. 1881/2 was appointed  Merioneth Education Committee Nurse c.1914, and married D J Lewis, Parliament House, Dolgellau; wedding at Oakfield Road Wesleyan Chapel, Liverpool, in 1916. Best man was Richard Barnett, Secretary of Education for Merionethshire. In 1919 couple were living in Dolgellau.
I'm looking for info that would help me trace descendants that could help in tracing descendants of their brother, Llewelyn Jones.
