Good evening,

This photo was among many I inherited from my aunt. We don't know who they are so a date would help.

From the clothing I would guess 1870s.

Hi John915, cannot help with date, just wanted to say what a great photograph, they look a great couple, he looks very happy and jovial, and the lady looks to have a devilish glint in her eye, they look very well matched. Wonderful.

Yes, a super photograph. I would say after 1900 possibly c1910.

Thanks all, unfortunately it leaves me none the wiser. I can only assume that they are part of my uncles family forbears. If there are any Hutchisons from East Sussex looking in, you may also have a copy or others.

Will put them on the Sussex board as well.

I would go with 1900 to 1910 too, I'm thinking about the middle if that decade.

Many thanks for the input, if I remember correctly it is a postcard. Will have to look out the original just to check.

What about a date for this trio (I nicknamed them "last of the summer gin") pretty fearsome looking.
